With the installation of a window rebate fan Plus, you ensure even fine ventilation in your home despite a closed window. This can reduce wall and room moisture, improve air quality and prevent mould formation. The window rebate fan creates an inconspicuous ventilation gap on the window, through which fresh air flows into the room. In order to create optimal air flow, you should mount at least one additional window rebate fan on another facade side per 10 m² of room area. If air pressure changes during air exchange, the fan flaps of the window rebate fan Plus automatically close to prevent possible draught. The ventilation is done purely mechanically, electricity or maintenance costs are eliminated and the sound insulation of the windows is retained. A maximum air flow of 6.0 m³/h is possible per fan, depending on air pressure and window type. The window rebate fan Plus meets the ventilation standard for indoor rooms and residential buildings according to DIN 18017-3 and DIN 1946-6 as well as the technical rule for gas installations for the combustion air supply DVGW-TRGI 2018. The window rebate fan Plus is suitable for new or existing windows made of plastic, wood or aluminium. When installing, please note that the fan must be screwed to the window frame and part of the window seal must be removed.
